Katharine S. Waldmann, MD, is a 1954-graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Her postgraduate training includes her internship served at the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as internal medicine residency with Massachusetts General Hospital (1954-1957). Dr. Waldmann attained board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of several professional societies and associations, including the American Academy of HIV Medicine, the Greater Washington Infectious Disease Society, and the Silver Spring Garden Club which allows her to remain at the forefront of her challenging field. Prior to medical school, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at Oberlin College and Conservatory in 1950. Dr. Waldmann has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Waldmann was selected for inclusion in editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who of American Women and has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website.
